Metro-area minority and women-owned enterprises (MWOEs) have a number of resources they can turn to in order to get their businesses up, running and successful.
Originally established in 1992 as the Women’s Entrepreneurial Center of the Metropolitan Atlanta Coalition of 100 Black Women, the Women’s Economic Development Agency (WEDA) is a nonprofit, bilingual (English/Spanish) organization that provides free and low-cost coaching and education to startups, with a focus on low to moderate income women in the 28-county Atlanta metropolitan statistical area.
